PLV-102b

When you need a portable volume ventilator capable of ventilating a wide range of patients, you need thePLV-102b. The PLV-102b uses a proven microprocessor-controlled, piston-driven ventilator platform to delivervolume ventilation in a range of settings. Its features address the needs of many patients who require volumeventilation and portability or transport in the sub-acute care, nursing home or home setting.

FEATURES

Portable· The PLV-102b is well suited for transport and portable applications due to its small size and lightweight. The ventilator is capable of operating from any of three power sources: 120 volts AC, an internal 12 voltDC battery and an external 12 volt DC battery, all of which are automatically switched by the PLV-102b.

Controls • The PLV-102b provides three modes: Control and Control-Assist, each of which can be used wit~optional Sigh, and the SIMV mode. The sensitivity of the PLV-102b is adjustable from -6 to +18 cm H20, which allowsfor use with PEEP up to 20 cm H20. The sensitivity is automatically and continuously corrected for barometriJpressure changes.
