The Landscape Committee will judge homes the first week of each month of April, May and June and the winning yards will have signs by the 15th of the month. Remember, only nominated yards will be judged so send those emails.

Excited? Here are the highlights of the upcoming activities and dates: • Saturday, April 25th: Community Wide Garage/Front Porch Sale• Saturday, May 2nd: Plum Creek Golf Tournament, PC Golf

Course AND Plum Creek Garden Tour• Sunday, May 3rd, early morning: Plum Creek 5K and Kids’ Fun

Run, Negley Elementary• Sunday, May 3rd, 12PM to 3PM: Front Porch Days, including

the Plum Creek Music Festival, the Pie Baking Contest, and more at Fergus Park.Front Porch Days is a great time to get out with your family and

neighbors. The entertainment and many of the events are FREE. Money is needed to purchase food, drinks, and products from vendors and community groups or to participate in the golf tournament, washers tournament, 5K, or fun run.

Interested in selling something? More details coming in April’s PC Post. We will be accepting vendor booth applications for booth spaces soon. If you’re an artist, craftsperson, business, or community group, we want you! Contact Adriane Carbajal at [email protected] to ask questions or get a booth application. Also, the application will be posted online at www.frontporchdays.com.

Come on out to the Annual Plum Creek Easter Egg Hunt at McNaughton Park on Saturday, April 4th! It is important for you to have your children present by 9:30 am, as not to miss the fun! The hunt starts right on time! Feel free to hang out after the hunt and enjoy the bounce house.

With plenty of eggs to hunt, the park will be divided into four, color-coded sections by age group, as indicated below. Also, kids must bring their own basket to collect their tiny treasures.

Age Groups:• 0 - 3 years : pink section• 4 - 6 year olds: green section• 7 - 9 year olds: orange section• 10 & up: yellow section

SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORTThe Plum Creek HOA Safety Committee Block Captains will meet briefly on March 19 at 5:30 pm prior to the 2015 Annual Meeting or the Plum Creek HOA at the Plum Creek Golf Club.  Current issues we are addressing include pool safety, fire lane curb painting, lighting on Fairway Street, and drainage openings on greenspaces.  For more information, contact Safety Committee Chair, Carol Peters, at 512-268-2610.

2015 Annual MeetingThe meeting will be on 3/19/2015 at the Plum Creek Golf Club.

Registration will start at 6pm and the meeting will start at 6:30pm. Look for the annual meeting notice in the mail.

Need Homes for the 4rd Annual Plum Creek Garden TourOn Saturday, May 2, 2015, the PC Landscape Committee plans

to host the Plum Creek Garden Tour, as part of Front Porch Days. We’re looking for some folks with lovely gardens to participate, especially folks in our newer section near Kirby Park. We hope to have a walking tour and showcase about 3 to 7 of Plum Creek’s gardens. Sip & Sew on March 10th Let the March winds blow, but that does not detour Sip and Sew! 

Do you have a project that you might need a little guidance? Or, just want to get ideas....or, perhaps learn needlepoint. crochet, knitting?  The large table at the HOA office is filled with talented individuals knitting, crocheting, needlepoint,  rug hooking, mending and every month we are encouraged with some “new project” a member has brought to share.  Come join a fun talented group who are willing to share their talents.We meet the second Tuesday of the month, March 10th, 6:30-PM – 8:30 PM at the HOA office.  If you have questions or need additional information, please call Iris Sandle – 512-405-0054 or Sandra Sigler – 512-405-0187

events take precedence over individual reservations. HOA events using the community center are Front Porch Days (May), July 4th, Hootenanny on the Hill (October) and Santa Pictures (December). Tournament RegistrationEnjoy a 4-Person Scramble on Saturday, May 2nd at 12:00 pm at

the Plum Creek Golf Course at 750 Kohlers Crossing in Kyle, Texas. Open to the public.

Cost Per Team of 4 Golfers is $260. Includes Round of Golf, Range Balls, Cart, Event T-shirt, Meal, and Drink. Lunch served prior to the tournament. No outside food or drinks allowed.
