It’s hard to imagine that only nine weeks remain in the 2011 season.

The season may be getting shorter but there is no shortage in the racing action. We all witnessed another great Blizzard race on May 27th with the running of the Papa John’s 100. The Buddy’s Home Furnishings Super Lates are expected to give us a night of thrills and lots of action as always when they return in 2 weeks.

Congratulations to “AWESOME” Augie Grill on his win and on

breaking the record for the most w i n s in the Blizzard S e r i e s

at America’s Favorite Home Track.

Tonight the Pro Late Models are back to “strut their stuff” in front

of the world’s greatest fans. It will be round 2 of a 5 race schedule for the Allen Turner Hyundai Pro Late Models, as several of the best driv-er’s in the South will be in the pits for this evenings Sonata 100.

Last month saw 25 cars take the green flag and we don’t expect

any less for round 2. The last race saw Montgomery Alabama’s Hunter Robbins (pictured here) come from last in the field to capture first place money. A repeat

won’t come easy. Look for D.J. VanderLey, Ronnie Smith, Tommy Rollins,

Augie Grill, Bubba Pollard and a host of others try to stop Robbins winning streak at one. Joining tonight’s action are the Super Stocks, Sportsman & Bombers.

Congrats to Brandon Odom, Kyle Bryant, Johanna Long and other

drivers who graduated this month.

Last, but not least, the most impor-tant races of the night will be the

kids bicycle races. Look inside at 2 photos of the kids from over 30 years ago. Maybe you recognize someone in the pictures. Should be a real fun night for all ages. Kids…Hope you brought your helmets!!!

Thanks as always to Eddie Mercer, Scott Carlson, Tracy Goodson

and Jerry Long for providing the prizes for the kids.
