Password Change Extended to May 20th
In order to increase data security KDE has requested a new password policy in
CIITS which will be turned on May 20th The new policy will require users to
change their password at least every 120 days and will include the following password requirements
middot Minimum length of 8 characters middot Minimum of 2 special characters $^amp()_+|gtlt[]-=`~ middot Maximum of 2 repeating characters middot A Password can only be reused after 5 password changes middot Accounts will be locked for 2 hours after 5 incorrect login attempts
When the new password policy is turned on any user attempting to login with a password that is older than 120
