Problem Lights/Beeps
Cause Solution at Lock
Water is found inside the lock, or condensation can be seen on the LED.
Various possibilities
The lock is not air tight externally or rain/water is reaching the lock internally.
This lock may be permanently damaged, but removing the lock from the door and leaving it to dry for 24 hours may restore it to normal functionality. Please check the installation, the weather seal must be correctly installed. Ensure that the seal does not have gaps on a textured surface of the door or from a foreign object. The lock is not weather tight internally and is not suitable for use where water or condensation can reach it from the inside.
Internal buttons will not work correctly
Fast red blink. High and low alternating beeps.
The screws are over tightened Loosen the screws slightly, in particular if the bottom screw is too tight it can put unnecessary pressure on the lock.
