Example story plan:
Use this picture prompt to plan your story:
Herman: He was a heron, bluish grey colour, long legs, and sabre like beak. He was hungry, bored and impatient.
Xavier and Tilly: Herman’s best friends.
Near a river with clear blue water.
Time : Morning time, it was very calm and peaceful morning
His friends were late. He was bored and a bit hungry too. He could hear something in the water but couldn’t see anything.
He thought he saw a fish. He wanted to catch it and surprise his friends. He tried and failed.
He realised it wasn’t a fish, it was his reflection.
He felt very silly.
He didn’t want his friends to know how silly he was. He began to wait for his friends again pretending as if nothing happened.
