* The Qur'an is the Muslims' holy book. According to them it is the word of God.

* It contains the record and revelations of God to Muhammad over a period of 22 years.

* It discuss the nature of God, creation and the human soul. Also address moral, legal and family issues.

* The Sunnah is the words and actions of Muhammad himself.

* It provides Muslims with guidelines for living a proper life. It also helps them interpret difficult parts of the Qur’an.

* Muslims consider Muhammad to be a perfect model for their own behavior.

* By following the Sunnah they are being faithful to Islamic principles.

* The Five Pillars of Faith (Islam) are the religious duties that Muslims must preform during their life.

* They discuss how Muslims should be good human beings in obedience with Allah's will.

* Most important pillar is called the hajj. It requires Muslims to circle the Kaaba (Ka'bah), which is located in Mecca.

* Muslims believe that the Kaaba (Ka' bah) was sent from heaven in ancient times.
