WHAT IS IT?NIOSH-Oil and Gas Safety Passport Refresher (OGSP-R) e-Learning
Is a program developed specifically for workers in the Oil and Gas Industry that who needs to renew their cards Oil and Gas Safety Passport. They can choose to undergo this program because the program is much easier, cheaper, and more effective. They do not have to go through a long learning process but they are also able to choose their own time for learning and assessment process. Overall, this program can help accelerate the entry of workers into the plant of Oil and Gas.
OBJECTIVES
The OGSP-NIOSH-Oil and Gas Safety Passport implemented in Petronas, Shell, Titan plants, and Petron has two specifics objectives :
To change the mindset of workers toward safety first attitude, which is to elevate safety and health at the workplace to the same level as other business functions in the industry, and to practice it at the highest standard possible.
To provide the basic training for contractor’s workers on the recognition of the hazards and risks present in the oil and gas industry, and the precautionary and control measures necessary to ensure safe and healthy working conditions and minimize accidents at the workplace. The training also provides the necessary knowledge on laws affecting safety and health at the workplace, specifically the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and its Regulations.

Module 1 : Permit to Work System (PTW) & Lock- Out Tag-Out System (LOTO)
Module 2 : High Risk Activities
Module 3 : Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Module 4 : Behaviour Safety (BS)
Module 5 : Process Safety Management (PSM) & Loss of Primary Containment (LOPC)
Module 6 : Transport Safety
Module 7 : Schedule Waste Management
