DUTIES - NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL EXECUTIVE BOA Plans and directs the work of the Neighborhood Counc represents the Neighborhood Council before any grou individual, subject to the direction and review of the Ge Membership. Executive Board Members serve a one year term, elected majority vote of the General Membership. No absent proxy voting is permitted. The Executive Board consists of the positions of Chair, Chair, Secretary and/or Treasurer, and may include from o three Members-at-Large. The Executive Board must cons at least four, but not more than seven members to be an a council. DUTIES OF THE CHAIRMAN  Presides over all meetings of the Neighborhood Council General Membership and Executive Boa  Appoints all committees and/or dissolves any committee with the approval of a majority of the Executive Board.  Is an ex-officio member of all standing committe  Responds to questions concerning procedures a business of the Neighborhood Council. DUTIES OF THE VICE CHAIR  Performs the duties of the Chair in his/ her absence.  Promotes participation in the Neighborhood Council. DUTIES OF THE SECRETARY  Prepares / distributes agenda for all meetings  Keeps minutes of all meetings; records motions pass or failed.  Notes any action taken on items on /not on the agen  Carries on the official Neighborhood Council correspondence  Signs all minutes after General & Executive Meeting  Performs the duties of the Treasurer, if none elected DUTIES OF THE TREASURER  Maintains all financial records  Spends funds as authorized by majority vote of the General Membership or Executive Board.  Prepares / presents financial statements to the Exec Board and/or General Membership.  Performs the duties of the Secretary, if none is electe DUTIES OF MEMBERS-AT-LARGE  Undertakes special projects as directed by  Executive Board.
