You Don’t Have To Hug A TreeTo Save A Tree.

Just receive and pay your Comcast bill online using Ecobill™—the paperless way to pay.

Ecobill is fast, convenient and hassle-free. It eliminates paper bills, envelopes

and paying for stamps. All of which make your life easier, your wallet fatter, and

our planet greener.

Make a world of difference with Ecobill.By receiving and paying your bill online, every year your household can:

• Save 6.6 pounds of paper

• Save .079 trees

• Conserve 4.5 gallons of gasoline that would be used to mail bills, statements and payments

• Avoid the release of 65 gallons of wastewater into the environment

• Avoid producing 171 pounds of greenhouse emissions

Start saving money, time and trees today.Sign up for Ecobill at comcast.com/ecobill.

Big results begin with simple acts. Here are just a few easy ways we can help our environment every day:

Switch your lights: If every family in the US made the switch to CFL bulbs, we’d reduce CO2 emissions by more than 90 billion pounds. That’s like taking a million cars off the road!

Unplug your cell phone charger when not in use: You’ll save 15 pounds of CO2

emissions each year.

Make your next computer a laptop: It’ll consume up to 90% less energy than a desktop model.

Shop at your local farmers market: It reduces emissions, fuel consumption and unnecessary traffic. Plus, the food’s fresher!

Get out of the car: Replace just one five-mile car trip each week with a walk or a bike ride and you’ll eliminate around 200 pounds of CO2 emissions each year.

Huge strides start with small steps.

Sustainable Transportation

No Idling Rule—During load-in/out, trucks and cars will have designated parking at specified times to avoid idling and promote cleaner air

Public Transportation—The link to 511.org’s Trip Planner will be provided on the event website, for attendees to find the best method of public transportation to get them to the event

Green Eats—The natural, organic and sustainable way!

Compost—Compost bins will be easily accessible both for participating restaurants and attendees

Biodegradable—We’ll be providing biodegradable spudware for all Green Eats participants

Styrofoam Free—The PLAYgreen Festival will be a Styrofoam Free event!

Reducing PLAYgreen’s Climate Footprint

Support the locals—In order to support the Buy Local Berkeley campaign, we are inviting locally owned and operated businesses to be a part of the event.
