James Lasleydirect “green” metal sculpture
The term “green” metal means that all of my materials are
re-purposed from other objects and given a new life
Tom Middletonceramic/[email protected]/ThrowneI aim to change the world, one person at a time.

Trent Manningsculpture
Creates sculpture from discarded metal, old tools and wire, transforming junk
into eclectic masterpieces.
Tony Palmsmixed media on music [email protected] every day living springs all manner of expressions in art, literature, poetry, dance, music, theater... reminding us to re-discover the breathing heart within this human form. That is when being this tiny speck of dust on this little rock in this vast cosmological space becomes the most incredible event.

Michelle Phillipsink on photography

and conveying deep spiritual meaning through
deconstruction and seemingly simple ideas.
Princess Simpson Rashidacrylic on [email protected] current body of work explores the relationship between abstraction in science and music. I draw upon the connection by using color, perception and symbolism. I’m specifically interested in the way the eye, ear and brain communicate to enable visual perception.

Bob Rosinskyphotography
[email protected] like dogs. Most dogs like me.
Karen Spearsmixed media
My interest lies in exploring the visual culture around me and the manner in which individuals move through that
space. Artistically, this has manifested itself in layered imagery of figure and
texture within created spaces.

Richard Stewartfine art photographyrstewart@galleryartphotos.comwww.galleryartphotos.comTo me, a fine art photograph starts with a compelling image that captures the viewer’s attention and imagination, evoking some feeling or emotion, creating unique images by controlling light and tonal values and eliminating elements that distract through a variety of techniques.
Michael Whitephotography
I like to take my images to the edge of reality and give a glimpse of what I see in my mind’s eye.

Mary May Witteacrylic on [email protected] feeds the hunger I feel for creativity. I felt that hunger at a very early age… My work now is inspired by familiar landscapes, the beauty of birds, animals and flowers, and the simple forms revealed in boats and architecture.
Leadership Bartow Class XVArt and Culture Day Project
bartowchamber.comA hands on project, a black box
designed and drawn with pastels by each classmate as they explore
and express their inner artist. The boxes are finished with a
decorative knob on the bottom and when hung allows the boxes to spin allowing the observer to see all four
sides while standing in one spot.
In more than 8,600 communities, Americans can take advantage of curbside recycling, where recyclables are placed in special bins and picked up by the local garbage collector.
Republic operates 76 materials recovery facilities nationwide. At these plants, any trash that is mixed in with the recyclables is removed and the rest of the items are sorted into specific types.
What do materials that are recycled become?
Cardboard become new cardboard and facing paper for gypsum board.
Newspapers & magazines become new papers and cereal boxes.
Aluminum becomes new beverage containers.
Glass becomes highway reflector markings and home décor items like backsplashes.
Plastic becomes new plastic containers, lumber or carpet and fleece sweatshirts.
