This exceptonal building was designed by the Madrid-based SelgasCano architectural ofce, authors too of several singular buildings, amongst them, the 2015 Serpentne Gallery Pavilion in London. FHECOR partcipated in this building developing the project and the constructon details of the textle envelope manufactured by Lastra & Zorrilla.

The textle skin is composed by a single ETFE sheet supported on a grid of circular tubes. An additonal system of struts and cables has been provided to stand for horizontal wind forces, thus allowing larger spans between the supports of the steel structure on the concrete main structure.

The close collaboraton between the architects, the textle manufacturer and Fhecor made possible to develop an innovatve soluton that responds to the architectural need of designing a light and elastc skin that creates a smooth transiton between the exterior and the interior.
