Characteristcs
Multicellular, Photosynthesize,
Autotrophic Plants contain many
cells. Plant cells are special in the fact that the process of photosynthesis is undergone inside of them. During this process the plant uses sunlight and water to produce food/energy for itself. This makes plants autotrophic, which means they are able to produce their own food.
Eukaryotic, Contain a Cell Wall
Plant cells are
eukaryotic, meaning
they contain a nucleus
along with membrane-
bound organelles.
Plant cells are also
equipped with a cell
wall. Many other
organisms, such as
animals, do not have
cell walls.
