Location and Setting

The location for my film opening will be a part of Epping Forest. For the chase scene I will need:• A stream• A tree (easy to climb and jump from)• Small hills

Planning for shoots

• Looking at: James Bond, Mission Impossible and other action films I have come to the conclusion that I will need very natural makeup to go with the location of the shoot. Also the costumes are key to show the genre of the film and also to link to the location.

• I have already decided on the location and this should help me figure out what make up, hair, costumes props I need to create my final product.

Main Character

Clothing that fits with the locationInspiration from the film The Hunger Games.

The location of my opening is in the forest so I’m looking at The Hunger Games because that also was set in the forest. The clothing is very green and camouflaged and there dressed for the outdoors. Looking at the clothing used I think the main character will be dressed in similar clothing.

Clothing that fits with the locationInspiration from the film Hanna.

The clothing that she is wearing is warm clothing and is made from fur. The clothing is man made and loss fitting. She also wears a baggy tracksuit. For the clothing in my opening, I think the man-made clothing want work very well compared to the clothing that I looked at from The Hunger Games.

After looking at different possibilities of clothing for the main character, I think the clothing from The Hunger Games is more suited for my opening.

She will wear:• Green combat trousers• Either a waterproof or

leather jacket. (Brown or Black).

• Brown/black boots. (walking or knee high)

• Black Top• Natural make up• Hair in a lose bun or fish or

French plat.

Main Characters Clothing

All clothing and make up will come from me or the actress. The hair and make up will be done by her or me.

Inspiration from the film You Kill Me and Crank

Both of these films the hitman is wearing a suit or black. Also I like the idea of the beanie (hat) in black.

Villain Clothing After looking at different

films I think the following clothing is what I want the villain to wear in my opening. The villain will wear:• Black leather gloves• Black suit (maybe a

black jacket over the top)

• White Shirt • Red tie• The actor hair is short

so don’t have to do anything with his hair

The suit, shirt and tie provided by the actor. Black gloves provided by me.

PropsTheir will be no props because in the chase scene I don’t want them to be carrying anything.
