What  is  the  genre  of  your  music?    The  genre  of  the  music  I  have  chosen  is  hip-­‐hop  because  I  think  it  is  a  well  recognize.  A  lot  of  people  are  interested  in  these  music  artists;  such  as  Drake,  Big  Sean  and  many  more.  If  I  do  hip-­‐hop  as  a  genre,  I  know  I  will  get  more  readers  and  costumers.  The  message  I’ll  be  representing  is  to  be  creative  and  original  because  if  you’re  trying  to  become  a  new  up-­‐coming  artist,  then  you  need  to  stand  out  and  be  known;  like  2  chainz  and  Nicki  Minaj.      What  group  will  you  be  representing  in  your  images?    The  groups  I  will  be  representing  in  my  magazine  are  both  sexes;  so  I  can  attract  both  female  and  male  gender,  because  my  genre  is  hip-­‐hop,  the  people  that  will  be  I’m  my  magazine  will  be  wear  closes  to  suit  the  genre.  The  target  audience  will  be  ages  15  and  over  because  many  of  the  people  who  are  interest  in  hip-­‐hop  are  around  that  age.  Hip-­‐hop  had  become  so  well  known  that,  a  lot  of  children  are  interested  in  it  at  a  young  age;  and  has  also  influenced  them  into  becoming  rappers  and  creating  their  own  lyrics.  When  I  take  my  photos,  the  age  group  will  between  16-­‐18,  because  as  a  college  student,  I  know  most  of  the  students  are  influence  by  hip-­‐hop  culture  and  their  dress  sense  has  been  from  the  way  hip-­‐hop  artists  dress.  The  ethnicity  groups  that  my  magazine  is  representing  are  black  and  white  ethnicity  groups;  I  have  chosen  those  two  groups  because  hip-­‐hop  was  originally  created  from  black  people  when  they  wanted  to  be  heard  and  noticed.  Eminem  was  the  first  white  male  to  start  rapping.  So  that  is  why  I  have  chosen  those  two  ethnicities.      How  will  you  be  representing  them  through  the  mise-­‐en-­‐scene?    To  be  able  to  represent  this  through  my  magazine,  I  will  make  sure  I  have  the  right  setting  such  as  a  recording  studio  or  even  out  side  sitting  on  a  wall  because  it  gives  the  person  I’m  taking  photos  of  will  look  like  they  have  attitude  and  may  even  have  status.  They  will  be  dress  in  black  clothing  for  men  with  gold  chains,  so  that  they  look  the  part.  For  the  girls,  they  will  be  wearing  tight  clothing  (a  body  con  dress)  for  sex  appeal  and  necklaces  and  bangles  to  show  how  ‘wealthy’  they  are.      What  camera  shots  will  you  be  using?      I  will  be  taking  a  variety  of  camera  shots  from  different  angles,  so  I  can  prove  I  am  capable  of  making  my  magazine  more  interesting  and  I  know  how  to  use  the  camera.  But  for  my  front  page  I  will  be  taking  a  medium  close-­‐up  of  the  main  model  so  that  I  am  following  the  conventions  of  a  music  magazine.  A  long  shot  will  be  from  a  side  view  of  my  chosen  model  for  the  contents  page;  there  will  be  more  of  a  variety  of  images  of  different  young  models.
