RESOLUTION 15-13600

A RESOLUTION SELECTING THE MOST QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING,ARCHITECTURAL AND SURVEYING FIRMS TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ONAN ANNUAL BASIS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACTSWITH SELECTED FIRMS WITHIN AREA OF EXPERTISE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVEDATE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-664(2) of the Code oFbrdinances, City o€`At3ples, forthose services governed by F.S. 287.055 the Consultants CompetitiveNegotiation Act ("CCNA"), the procedures provded in the CC4 A shall befollowed; and

WHEREAS, the City Manager appointed a staff selection committee consisting of BobMiddleton, Director of Utilities; David Lykins, Director of Community Services;Mike Bauer, Natural Resources Manager; George Archibald, TransportationPlanning Engineer; and Andrew Holland, Engineering Manager for the purposeof reviewing and ranking qualifications received; and

WHEREAS, the committee evaluated each firm's qualifications and selected and ranked thefirms as listed in the attached Exhibit 'A' to be the most highly qualified toperform the required professional services that may be required by the City inthe execution of work and projects;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPLES,FLORIDA:

Section 1. That the firms identified and ranked in Exhibit 'A are hereby selected as beingthe most highly qualified to perform professional engineering, architectural, andsurveying services on an as-needed basis.

(NOTE: All firms are considered equal and will be considered for work asneeded, under separate contracts.)

Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute Agreements with thefirms listed in Exhibit A' based upon area of expertise or on a rotational basis.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
