Book 141 Page Agenda Item 11 Special Meeting of 2117115 RESOLUTION 15-13600 A RESOLUTION SELECTING THE MOST QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURAL AND SURVEYING FIRMS TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ON AN ANNUAL BASIS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS WITH SELECTED FIRMS WITHIN AREA OF EXPERTISE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-664(2) of the Code oFbrdinances, City o€`At3ples, for those services governed by F.S. 287.055 the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act ("CCNA"), the procedures provded in the CC4 A shall be followed; and WHEREAS, the City Manager appointed a staff selection committee consisting of Bob Middleton, Director of Utilities; David Lykins, Director of Community Services; Mike Bauer, Natural Resources Manager; George Archibald, Transportation Planning Engineer; and Andrew Holland, Engineering Manager for the purpose of reviewing and ranking qualifications received; and WHEREAS, the committee evaluated each firm's qualifications and selected and ranked the firms as listed in the attached Exhibit 'A' to be the most highly qualified to perform the required professional services that may be required by the City in the execution of work and projects; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPLES, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the firms identified and ranked in Exhibit 'A are hereby selected as being the most highly qualified to perform professional engineering, architectural, and surveying services on an as-needed basis. (NOTE: All firms are considered equal and will be considered for work as needed, under separate contracts.) Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute Agreements with the firms listed in Exhibit A' based upon area of expertise or on a rotational basis. Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
