About UsPlanet Funk Con is the Quad Cities premiere comics, arts, and entertainment convention. It is being held at the TaxSlayer Center this June and aims to bring a big city comicon to the Quad City area. Spread out over Friday and Saturday we will be bringing a huge variety of shopping and entertainment for people of all ages. Kids 12 and under accompanied by an adult get in free. We have a large number of attractions that would make great on-air news segments. Planet Funk Con is the re-inventing of an 8 year old Quad Cities convention. We have moved to the TaxSlayer Center and will be the largest convention of this kind in the Quad Cities area. At this year’s Planet Funk Con you can expect all things awesome including a variety of vendors, artists, celebrity guests, game tournaments, and live entertainment!

We will be featuring vendors, artists, and entertainers from all over the greater midwest area for two days of fun. There will be live panels and workshops as well as areas for guests to play video games, board games, and more.

We are also featuring a ‘Hall of Heroes’, a hallway at the entrance of the convention dedicated to non-profits and community building organizations to promote themselves to our community!
