We invite you to join us for a major program of events on Saturday 12 Sunday 13 November at Carriageworks.
This guide contains all the information needed to plan your experience. As our program and cultural footprint
expands, we continually strive to make your experience better each year. With improvement comes change. With change comes questions. Please read this guide. Our goal is to make your experience enjoyable, hassle-free and
above all else safe.
This week we welcome artists from across South Eastern Australia and internationally to our home in Redfern for
a diverse program spanning contemporary visual arts, performance, dance, food, music and fashion.
From 12 13 November, Carriageworks hosts three cultural programs across the precinct, including the
-ever MADE fashion event.
PLAN YOUR TRIP
HEARD·SYD performances are free to watch, taking place outside Carriageworks at 10am and 12pm, and the Black Arts Market is free entry.
We encourage all patrons to travel via public transport where possible and advise there will be no on-site
parking.

Bike racks are located on Wilson Street, outside the main entry to Carriageworks and eastern side past Cornerstone. Lights are recommended for your safety when biking at night.

A cultural market place curated by Hetti Perkins and Jonathan Jones showcasing the cultural heritage of South-
Eastern Aboriginal Australia. Featuring 55 stallholders and more than 90 artists, the Black Arts Market will be
presented over two days at Carriageworks on Saturday 12 November and Sunday 13 November, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to engage directly with local artists, acquire original art objects, and learn about
traditional cultural practices of South-Eastern Australia.

MADE, the downtown creative hub from New York is launching its inaugural event at Carriageworks in Sydney on
12 & 13 November. As an outdoor sports mecca and world capital, the city of Sydney has an important voice in
fashion. MADE Sydney is a 2-day festival-like environment that celebrates the cross-section of fashion and
skateboarding, featuring Faith Connexion, and retail pop-ups that feature exclusive products from MADE
designers.
