Tortuguero National Park
Tortuguero National Park protects a natural wildlife habitat including over twenty miles of coastline in which the turtles
lay eggs. The park is also home to a variety of animal species including jaguars, macaws, tapirs, over 300
species of birds, reptiles, and other mammals.
Sea Turtle Conservation Center
Located in Tortuguero National Park, this conservatory saves thousands of turtles and
indigenous birds a year.
Límon Carnival
Starting this weekend Limón kicks off its annual Carnival festivities, a 12-day Caribbean street party celebrating the kaleidoscope of cultures
on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast.
Poás Volcano
