MBA Programmes introduced at FMSR, AMU in 2019: MBA in Hospital Administration A two-year course, It has been thoughtfully structured after taking into account the demands of healthcare industry, existing gap between the disciplines of medicine and management, and the future requirements of professionals who can drive healthcare businesses. The Healthcare sector is amongst the fastest growing sectors worldwide, the result of which is a huge demand of management leaders in the same. Considering a surge in the industry, this course has been designed to inculcate a blend of management skills and healthcare know-how. The first year focuses on the basic knowledge of Management and Business Studies and the final year puts emphasis on skills and specialisations pertaining to hospitals in particular and healthcare industry in general. MBA in Islamic Banking and Finance It is one of the unique two-year MBA courses offered in India which gives students an opportunity to study the structure of the Islamic banking and finance industry, including its theoretical foundations, products, performance, Islamic financial instruments and risk management issues. Islamic Finance is an alternative concept of Finance that promotes an economy which operates without interest and is backed by equity instead of debt. It also does away with most of the speculation and promotes products and services that prioritizes risk sharing over risk transfer and tremendously expands the horizon of financial inclusiveness. Islamic Finance sector currently worth over 2 trillion dollars continues to grow and evolve in size and complexity, with Islamic banking offered in more than 60 countries worldwide. We believe that graduates from both these courses will immensely contribute and help shape the future of the Health-c are and Islamic finance industry.
