Geek the Library Take the campaign to local festivals and fairs Library card sign up at local festivals and fairs Use the campaign as an opportunity to get local city officials and prominent community members involved in your marketing campaign 7. Marketing and Making Your Library Discoverable Drop your newsletter off anywhere that has a waiting room (dentist, doctor, hair salons etc..) Try an e-newsletter that can be emailed to patrons. Have your TAB members or teen group promote events at school . 8. Website Tell a story about your library and how it is impacting the community rather than just posting the facts and information about a program. Summer Reading Programs Give summer reading program t-shirts to road crews, soccer teams, council members Highlight a reader of the week to put by the sign up area have the TAB members (or other teen volunteers) set up a table at school to promote the summer reading program and hand out brochures, book marks etc Get businesses to promote summer reading program by having a themed special Make a video at the end of the summer reading program 10.
