General information

• total allocation – 217.600.286 PLN = 52 545 225 EUR

• min. project amount– 1.552.950 PLN= 375.000 EUR

• max. project amount – 31.059.000 PLN = 7.500.000 EUR

• 3 areas of intervention

(1) Amelioration of perinatal care – preventive services, diagnostics andtreatment with a view to increase the number of births

(2) Better adaptation of health care system in order to meet the needs offast-growing population of chronically-ill and dependent elderly persons

(3) Cancer prevention aimed at reducing cancer morbidity and mortalityindicator in Poland

Already started the implementation of34 Projects, which are carried outthroughout the country, including ruralareas. Most in the Malopolska province,Wielkopolska and Lower Silesia.

Projects with partners - 4

The only project to be implemented viapartnership with Norwegian partner isproject „Enlargement and recostructionof building no 10 designed for elderlyand chronically ill patients” [Norwegianpartner - hospital owned by a non-profitorganisation]

Implementation of those projectswill contribute to the improvementof perinatal care (diagnosticsand treatment), to improve accessto cancer prevention and toimprove access to health care forthe chronically-ill and dependentelderly persons.

The largest group of beneficiariesare: medical entities, non-governmental organizations,limited liability companies andlocal government units

• In the restricted call for proposals for pilots-projects was apossibility to apply for financing the implementation ofcommunity-based health promotion and / or diseaseprevention pilot projects consisting of:

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

• The restricted call for proposals in Programme PL13 lasted

from 31 March 2014 till 02 June 2014.

• Total number of submitted applications: 98.

• 1 application have been withdrawn by Project Promoter

• Average project value: 2 603 054 PLN i.e. 618 185 EUR

(Exchange rate: 4.2108 PLN /1 EUR)

• 5 projects have been rejected after fomal assessment

procedure

• 92 projects were the subject of content related appraisal

SELECTION COMMITTEE 27.11.2014

• The Selection Committee made a recommendation to financing 24 projects with a total value of 63.081.547 zł;

• The remaining allocation amount of 1.862.489 zł is notsufficient to finance the cost of the next project from theranking list which was submitted by the District of Kutno;

• The Committee recommended the project for fundingconditionally, if the Minister of Health agrees to increase theshare of national resources in its financing above 15% totaleligible costs.

CALLS FOR PROPOSALS

• During the 1st call for applications at the PL07 programmelevel we have received 5 projects in total, 2 have receivedfunding:

• 1) “Vascular disease in rheumatology” Pomeranian MedicalUniversity (60726 PLN of EEA, Norway, Grants, MoH financing,10717 PLN of own resources; in total 71 443 PLN of eligibleexpenses),

• 2) “TeleNRS Care” Medical University of Łódź (83011 PLN ofEEA, Norway Grants, MoH financing, 14649 PLN of ownresources; in total 97660 PLN of eligible expenses).

CALLS FOR PROPOSALS

• Until November 28th there were two ongoing FBR calls:

• 2nd call within PL07 to the amount of 754 812 PLN and

• 1st call within PL13 to the amount of 272 571 PLN (65000EUR).

• These calls have concluded on Nov 28th. We have so farreceived three applications for PL07 FBR.

• We are looking forward to receiving PL13 applications as well(two are on its way)
