Step one, generate a new Output Device

(only needed once to be done)

Print to a printer / insert ELP

Double click

Windows:Use „U: Print Using Berkeley Protocol“

Enter the printer share name („SAP_LP01“)

Enter the IP adress of the print host


Unix:Use „L: Print locally using LP/LPR“

Change from LP to ELP shell script

Step two, generate a new test form and print

This is the correct editor: to use your print control, just use the marked line(syntax: „/: PRINT-CONTROL PRINTCONTROLNAME“)

If you want to print it, click on the printer symbol.

Then in the upcoming dialog enter the printer name („LP01“)

and click on print.

Then you will see how your print control affects

the common print of a document.

If your device type import was successful,

this screen should be displayed.
