1. Title of FilmObsessed – because the film is about a stalker being obsessed about a girl., and he wont leave her alone.

2. Plot SynopsisThe film centres around a man (Vernon) who is obsessed with a girl, he has a shrine of her things and photos of her, and he wont leave her alone. He progressively gets worse and becomes more and more obsessed with her, and eventually ends up getting inside of her house, he does this a number of times scaring her and trapping her, but not harming her. He is constantly telling her things which make her go mad and feel trapped and eventually the girl realises she has no way out, and kills herself because Vernon has made her go mad. The film ends with Vernon laid in her room dead so that he can be with her.

3. Opening sequenceA point of view shot shows a gloved person flicking through photographs of a girl, the camera then moves up and pans to show a shrine of photographs of the girl as well as objects he has took from her. We then see the killer pull his gloves on tighter and check his knife, and walk outside. Thought the opening sequence we see constant flashes of the girls features, such as her lips, eyes, etc.(The opening sequence is actually near the end of the film, just before Vernon kills himself)

4. Creative TechniquesThe opening sequence will have a point of view shot to show the killer flicking through photos, we will also use pan and tilt to show the amounts of photographs and objects he has from her. Canted angles of the shrine will also be used to make the viewers feel scared and disorientated. Extreme close ups of the girls face will also be used to show Vernon’s obsession with her. A long shot will be used when he walks out the door and walks away. One of the props we will be using is a knife, which is one of the conventions of horror, as well as low-key lighting. There will also be a vulnerable character and an obsessed man. It will also have dark, orchestral like non-diagetic music.

5. Funding/Distribution IssuesNorthern film and media would be the best company to fund and distribute our film because they are based in the north, like the film, and they are backed by the national lottery and local government funding, they might be likely to fund us as we would bring attention to the area which is good and could bring in more money. Our film will also demonstrate a strong creative and commercial impact in the area, which is what Northern film and media want.
