Hurricane Irma Charity
Prior to the race on the 17th, the idea was proposed to donate the
revenue from the event to benefit the victims of the devastating effects of Hurricane Irma. On the day of the race the members in attendance
voted unanimously to give 100% of the money from the event to the Lake County Sheriff’s Disaster Relief Fund to help those in need. I chose Lake
County because of our growing partnership that we have with them.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone that came out and supported our event on the 17th. Between the event registration fees, individual donations, and a gracious donation from our food vendor, Da'Munchies
Express, we will be donating $1509 to the Lake and Sumter Emergency Recovery to assist those affected by Hurricane Irma.
The Martin Sports Car Club is an organization made up of people who
are passionate about motorsports. The best aspect of our club is the bond we have for the fellowship between us when we are not behind the
wheel. We can do great things both in and out of the car. Zane Plumley
