Why are Piranha men so bad? And the women so good?

You may have noticed that Piranha women have out done the Piranha men – more medals, more titles, more beers - it seems nothing has changed. BUT WHY?

Hypothesis 1: There are less women in triathlon thus it’s easier to do well if you are a woman

Þ So, if we removed 1/3rd of the male competition would the men’s results improve? ANSWER: YES

BUT if the 1/3rd of males removed are removed evenly from all levels, not just the upper quartile, then the improvement in results would only be small.Conclusion: Less men only means less men for the women in Piranha to beat

Hypothesis 2: Piranha women are more aero due to the skimpier clothing they wear & shaved legs

Conclusion: Piranha men have tried everything to compete – but failed

Hypothesis 3: The men were absent the day the health & nutritionist came…..

Conclusion: Piranha men got the wrong-end-of-the -stick when it came to carbo loading
