Prime Osborn Covention Center Jacksonville, Florida
January 11, 12 & 13, 2002
HELEN MUSSELMAN KARYL DESOUSA President Antiques Show Manager
Welcome! The Pilot Club of Jacksonville extends to you a warm welcome
to our 52nd annual Antiques Show and Sale. It is through your sustained support and loyalty that we are able to continue our 67-year tradition of serving the needs of our community.
Because of your past generosity, this year we are helping fund many agencies including Alzheimer's Association, Children's Home Society, Community Hospice, Girls, Inc., P.A.C.E., Police Athletic League, Daniel Payne Academy and St. Johns Terrace Home.
Members of Pilot Club of Jacksonville also sponsor an Anchor Club in a local high school, participate in the Adopt-A-Mile litter removal project, give seasonal parties for the residents of a nursing home, serve meals at a homeless shelter and provide scholarships to several local students.
Thank you for being a part of our show this year. We hope you enjoy your visit and we look forward to seeing you at many future shows.
Helen Musselman, President Karyl DeSousa, Antiques Show Manager
Pilot Service approaches 68 year mark Since the beginning of the Pilot Club of Jacksonville on July 25,
1934 and throughout the years, members have continued the vision set forth: to improve the quality of life in local communities and throughout the world.
The major fund raising activity of the Pilot Club of Jacksonville is its annual Antiques Show and Sale. All of the show's proceeds are returned to the community through Pilot Club projects and charities benefiting Jacksonville.
Each year numerous requests are received for assistance from various community organizations. Funds are provided after research has been conducted into the needs of each agency. This year funds were provided to the Alzheimer's Association, Child Guidance Center, The Children's Home Society, Community Hospice of NE Florida, Girls, Inc., Lutheran Social Services, P.A.C.E., Police Athletic League (PAL), and the Women's Center.
We touch the lives of thousands by our commitment, involvement and support of organizations which fulfill a vital need in our community.
MISSION STATEMENT: Pilot Club International is a global organization of executive, business
and professional leaders working together to improve the quality of life in local communitties and throughout the world.
