I T I N E R A R Y
Day 1 ‐ Sep. 16: Depart USAOur pilgrimage begins today as we depart on our overnightflight to Munich, Germany. Meals and drinks served aloft.
Day 2 ‐ Sep. 17: Arrive MunichUpon arrival in Munich we will be met by our local tourmanager and then proceed to a local church for Mass.After Mass we will continue on to our hotel for check‐in.The remainder of the day will be free.
Day 3 ‐ Sep. 18: MunichToday we will enjoy a full day tour of Munich includingvisits to the Burgersaal, the Michaelskirche, theFrauenkirche where we will celebrate Mass, theMarienplatz with its famous Rathaus‐Glockenspiel clock,the festive Hofbrauhaus beer hall where we will have lunchand Nymphenburg Palace which was the summer home ofthe Bavarian monarchs.
Day 4 ‐ Sep. 19: Munich / SalzburgDepart Munich and drive to the Shrine of Our Lady ofAltotting, also known as the Chapel of Grace, which is theoldest Marian shrine in Germany. The shrine became apopular pilgrim destination in 1489 after a young boy whohad drowned had a miraculous recovery after his motherlaid his body before a statue of the Virgin Mary and prayedfor a miracle. After Mass in Altotting we will drive to thenearby town of Marktl am Inn which is the birthplace ofPope Benedict XVI. Here we will visit St. Oswald Churchwhere Pope Benedict XVI was baptized and his birthplacewhich is now a museum. We will then cross the border intoAustria and proceed to Salzburg and check‐in at our hotel.
Day 5 ‐ Sep. 20: SalzburgThis morning we will stroll through the heart of oldSalzburg and visit Mozart's birthplace, the famous HorseFountain, the Hohen Salzburg Fortress and the modernFestival Hall. Visit the religious heritage of this townincluding Nonnberg Convent which was founded by St.
Rupert in the 8th Century and is the oldest nunnery inexistence, and the Benedictine Abbey of St. Peter whichwas also founded by St. Rupert and where we willcelebrate Mass. Later this afternoon we will visit thebeautiful gardens of Hellbrunn Palace, a 17th Centurycastle known primarily for its trick fountains that sprayunsuspecting walkers with water.
Day 6 ‐ Sep. 21: Salzburg / OberammergauAfter Mass at the 17th century Cathedral this morning wewill depart Salzburg and drive to the picturesque town ofBerchtesgaden located in the southeast corner of Bavariajust across the border from Austria. After a briefexploration of the town we will visit the Eagle’s Nest, AdolfHitler’s infamous mountaintop retreat. See where Hitlerentertained dignitaries, view the hall where weddings andconferences were staged, and explore the terrace toadmire the spectacular Alpine views. We will then continueon to the village of Oberammergau, home to the worldfamous Passion Play where we will check‐in at our hotel.
Day 7 ‐ Sep. 22: OberammergauToday will be the highlight of our tour as we witness theworld famous Passion Play, performed by the local people
of Oberammergau. The story of Oberammergau is one offaith and began with a miracle. In the 1600’s the “BlackPlague” swept through Europe, striking down one in everythree people and leaving in its wake, misery, panic anddeath. The people of Oberammergau prayed to be spared,vowing that they would present a play depicting the Lifeand Passion of Jesus Christ every 10 years. True to theirword, the villagers presented their Passion Play in 1634 andhave kept their pledge, the routine of plays only havingbeen interrupted by two World Wars.
Day 8 ‐ Sep. 23: Oberammergau / LindauThis morning we will depart Oberammergau and drive toSteingaden to visit and celebrate Mass at the Wieskirche(Church in the Meadow) which is also called the Church ofScourged Redeemer and is considered to be the mostbeautiful Rococo church in Europe. Then continue on toNeuschwanstein Castle to see the most famous of thefairytale castles built by King Ludwig II. Drive on to Lindauwhich is located on beautiful Lake Constance for overnight.
Day 9 ‐ Sep. 24: Lindau / LucerneThis morning enjoy a brief tour of Lindau including thelighthouse and Bavarian Lion sculpture, the Old Town andSt. Peter’s Church and Lindau Abbey. We will then departLindau and drive across the German‐Swiss border to theBenedictine Monastery of Einsiedeln whose name derivesfrom the German word Einsiedler, or hermits. Among thesewas the famous Meinrad who, in the early 9th century,retired to the forest with a little statue of the Madonnawhich was given to him by a local abbess. Meinrad waskilled by robbers who were then eventually brought tojustice for their crime. Since the early 10th century,Einsiedeln has remained a place of fervent pilgrimage. Wewill celebrate Mass at the Monastery, which is situatedamidst green pastures and dense forests with some of thecountry’s most beautiful scenery. Continue our drive westto the beautiful town of Lucerne for check‐in at our hotel.
Day 10 ‐ Sep. 25: LucerneThis morning we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the
medieval city center with its historical and picturesque oldhouses, churches, world‐famous wooden bridges, towers,fountains and narrow streets. We will see Spreuer Bridge,Chapel Bridge, the Jesuitenkirche where we will celebrateMass, the Hofkirche, the Franziskanerkirche, the LionMonument and Town Hall. Then relax and enjoy a pleasantboat cruise on Lake Lucerne while passing picturesquevillages and stately villas. This evening enjoy a farewelldinner at a local restaurant.
Day 11 ‐ Sep. 26: Lucerne / Zurich / USAThis morning transfer to Zurich Airport to catch our returnflight home.

The final trip cost includingairfare will be available by the beginning of November oncethe airfares are published by the airlines and flights becomeavailable for booking.
GENERAL INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
Reservations and Payment: Please complete the attached ReservationApplication and return it with your nonrefundable deposit of $1,000.00 perperson no later than October 4, 2019. Reservations received after October 4,2019 are strictly subject to availability. Final payment is due March 2, 2020.Payment is accepted in the form of a personal check, cashier’s check, wiretransfer, or money order.
Cancellations: All cancellations must be in writing. The following per personcancellation charges will apply: If canceled after the time of your initialbooking a $1,000.00 penalty will be charged. If canceled 180‐91 days prior todeparture a $1,500.00 penalty will be charged. If canceled 90‐31 days priorto departure a $2,000.00 penalty will be charged. If canceled 30‐7 days priorto departure a $2,500.00 penalty will be charged. No refunds will be madewithin 6 days of departure. In addition, once the airline tickets have beenissued, 100% of the airfare is non‐refundable unless you have been advisedotherwise at the time of your booking. Additional cancellation charges mayapply depending upon the cancellation terms of our suppliers.
Refunds: Subject to the foregoing Cancellation Terms, upon cancellation oftravel related services, all sums paid to George’s International Tours for suchservices will be promptly returned to the passenger, provided the passengerhas not caused such cancellation and is not in violation of any of the termsand conditions previously, clearly and conspicuously disclosed and agreed toby the passenger. This refund provision does not apply where George’sInternational Tours has remitted the payment to another registered seller oftravel or a carrier and they default in providing the agreed‐upontransportation or service without providing a refund. In such a situation,George’s International Tours agrees to provide passenger with a writtenstatement accompanied by a copy of the bank records establishing thedisbursement of the payment, and if disbursed to a seller of travel, proof oftheir current registration.
Trust Account Disclosure: California law requires certain sellers of travel tohave a trust account or bond. George’s International Tours has such a trustaccount.
Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation (“TCRC”): George’s InternationalTours is a participant in the Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation(“TCRC”). You, the passenger, may request reimbursement from TCRC if theSeller of Travel was registered and participating in the TCRC at the time ofsale and the passenger is located in California at the time of payment. Pleasebe advised that passengers purchasing from outside of California are notcovered by the TCRC. Eligible passengers may file a claim with TCRC if thepassenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travelservices which the Seller of Travel failed to forward to a proper provider orif such money was not refunded to you when required. The maximumamount which may be paid by the TCRC to any one passenger is the totalamount paid on behalf of the passenger to the Seller of Travel, not to exceed$15,000. A claim must be submitted to the TCRC within six months after thescheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficientinformation and documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processingfee. You must agree to waive your right to other civil remedies against aregistered participating Seller of Travel for matters arising out of a sale forwhich you file a claim with the TCRC, if you were located in California at thetime of the sale. You may request a claim form by writing to: TravelConsumer Restitution Corporation, P.O. Box 6001, Larkspur, CA 94977‐6001;or by faxing a request to 415‐927‐7698.
Travel Documents: A passport which is valid for a minimum of 6 months pastthe date of your return flight home is required of all U.S. citizens. Visas arenot required for U.S. citizens. If you are not a U.S. citizen, please call todetermine your visa requirement status. George’s International Tours is notresponsible for individual visas or passports.
Tour Cost: All quoted prices are based upon airfares, tariffs and currencyexchange rates at the time of printing and are subject to change at any time.Should the minimum number of 40 tour members not be reached, the rightis reserved to increase the tour cost accordingly.
Tour Documents and Tickets: Final tour documents are mailed, provided wehave received full payment, within 3 weeks of departure.
Baggage: Each passenger is allowed one checked bag and one carry‐on. Youwill be responsible for paying to the airline any additional charges foradditional checked baggage or overweight baggage (if excess weight ispermitted). George’s International Tours is not responsible for lost, damagedor stolen baggage.
Air Transportation: International airfare is NOT included in the publishedpackage price because at the time of printing airfares are not yet available. Rates for flights will be available once the flights come into booking range.
Hotels: Accommodations are based on double occupancy rooms. A limitednumber of single rooms are available at the supplement quoted and shouldbe requested at the time of booking.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you have comprehensivetravel insurance. Insurance may be purchased directly through George’sInternational Tours and registration forms will be provided upon receipt ofyour deposit or you may purchase online at www.georgesintl.com. George’sInternational Tours acts only as an intermediary between you and theinsurance provider and in no event shall George’s International Tours beliable to any person or entity whatsoever for any direct, indirect, incidental,special, exemplary, compensatory, consequential, or punitive damagesrelated to insurance coverage purchased.
Not Included: International airfare, gratuities, passport/visa fees, personaltravel insurance, laundry, beverages and items not on the regular menu ofthe included meals, additional baggage in excess of airport allowance,optional sightseeing tours, and all expenses of a purely personal nature.
Responsibility Clause: The passenger contract issued by the transportationcompany shall constitute the sole contract between the transportationcompany and the passenger. Additional expenses incurred as a result ofdelay, change of schedules, illness, weather, strikes, hostilities, quarantine,government requisition of hotel space or any other reasons beyond thecontrol of the tour operator or travel agent shall be borne by the passenger.George’s International Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels of similarcategory if necessary and to alter itineraries.
Limitation of liability: The airlines, hotels, and other suppliers (jointly:“travel suppliers”) providing travel or other services sold by George’sInternational Tours are independent contractors and not agents oremployees of George’s International Tours. George’s International Toursand/or their cooperating selling agents and/or their travel suppliers offerthese tours for sale only on the express understanding that they themselvesdo not perform or in any way assume liability for the performance of theindividual components, transfers, hotels, flights, car, motorcoaches, etc. ofthese tours and act only to combine these components into a single unit ofsale for the convenience of the general public. To the extent permitted bylaw, George’s International Tours does not assume liability for any injury,damage, death, loss, accident or delay due to an act or omission of a travelsupplier, including, without limitation, an act of negligence or the default ofa travel supplier. To the extent permitted by law, no responsibilities areaccepted for any damage and/or delay due to force majeure, sickness,pilferage, labor disputes, bankruptcy, machinery breakdown, quarantine,government restraints, weather, terrorism or any causes beyond George’sInternational Tours’ control. Further, no responsibility is accepted for anyadditional expense, omissions, delays, failure to make connections, non‐performance or poor performance, loss of revenue, loss of anticipatedprofits, any additional expenses or lost business, attributable to youyourself, acts or omissions of any third parties, or acts of any governmentalauthority, even if George’s International Tours has been advised that suchdamages were possible or probable.
