A BIT OF INFORMATION

The optativa Fish and Chips was designed to provide our students with the chance to improve their oral skills, both their oral production and their oral comprehension. As our PILE is mainly carried out in 4th ESO, we thought that the students could start improving their skills in 3rd ESO thanks to this optativa. So far, it has been a positive experience and the students enjoy it. However, due to the fact that the optativa has to be offered together with a third foreign language and Arts, not all the students take it and some of them don’t feel attracted to it at the beginning. Moreover, some students in Fish and Chips don’t attend the regular 3rdESO English lessons, but a project where second language is being adapted.
