Pigmentex Incorporated

Established in 1990, Pigmentex is involved in the production of calcium sulfate and aluminum paste for

paints. The company also toll-manufactures alkyds, emulsions and polyester resins for RI Chem. Its main

plant is in Carmona, Cavite.

Mr. Dominador Boy Saavedra, Pigmentex general manager, welcomed the visitors and highlighted the key reasons for the improvements at Pigmentex since its establishment in 1990.

Mr. Romeo Imperial, technical and customer service manager, gave an audio-visual presentation of the beginnings of

Pigmentex, highlighting the measures they took to clean up the garbage scattered all over the plant. He also reported

on the involvement of employees in the cleanliness drive within the plant and with the community. “In community

relations, we work with the neighboring factories and local government units to support initiatives towards safety and

environmental protection,” Mr. Imperial said.

 To end the visit, Pigmentex served a sumptuous ‘binalot’ lunch, a mix of rice with chicken, pork, and egg plus assorted vegetables.
