Parigi, primi anni ’70. Affascinato dalle geometrie e dalle linee futuristiche che lo renderanno celebre protagonista della Haute Couture, Pierre Cardin progetta una serie di arredi dal design maestoso e intrigante, vere e proprie sculture che, alla personalità artistica, sommano la funzione arredativa: le “Sculptures Utilitaires”. Nasce così una lussuosa collezione di letti, tavoli, madie, sedie, lampade, sculture che hanno fatto il giro del mondo, non solo arredando le residenze di molte celebrità, ma anche arricchendo prestigiose collezioni d’arte a New York, Londra, Parigi, Montecarlo e molte altre location e città. Oggi FORME ripropone al pubblico la collezione originale, integrata da pezzi di nuova concezione firmati dal talentuoso scultore-designer Rodrigo Basilicati, nipote dello stilista.Caleidoscopico sperimentatore di forme e materiali, Rodrigo realizza artigianalmente con una equipe di esperti maestri le Sculpures Utilitaires, imprimendo uno stile personale, ma sempre in perfetta continuità e simbiosi con lo zio.

Paris, early 70s. Fascinated by the shapes and futuristic lines that make him famous Haute Couture’s designer, Pierre Cardin created a series of futuristic and amazing sculptures that add the decorating function to the artistic personality: the “Sculptures Utilitaires”. The result is a luxurious collection of beds, tables, cupboards, chairs, lamps, sculptures that have been around the world, not only furnishing homes of many celebrities, but also they were present in prestigious art gallery in New York, London, Paris, Monaco and many other locations and cities. FORME company now presents to the public the original collection, re-edited by the talented sculptor-designer Rodrigo Basilicati, grandson of the designer Cardin.Kaleidoscopic experimenter of forms and materials, Rodrigo creates Sculpures Utilitaires with a team of expert wood-craftsmen, giving a personal style, but always in perfect harmony and continuity with his uncle’s style.

65 Piani, sei dischi di forma circolare distanti 35 metri l’uno dall’altro, sostenuti da tre torri disposte a forma di stella. Una superficie abitativa coperta di circa 27 ettari accoglierà dimore, luxury hotel, aree verdi.
