I urge you to see as much of the campuses as possible and speak to as many people as you can to give you the best opportunity to get a feel for student life here at the University of Chichester. We have so much going on that you can get involved with, including accommodation and campus tours, taster sessions, meet and greets with students and staff and talks. These very special places – with both modern and historical buildings, exceptional specialist equipment and resources, great social and sporting facilities, and beautifully tended gardens – are set up to enable you to feel part of the University from the start. The surrounding environment includes the cultural city of Chichester, the blue flag beach at Bognor Regis, the outstanding digital and creative communities of the region, and the outstanding natural beauty of the South Downs, so if you have time, do go and take a look around the local area.
Our students are satisfied with our teaching quality. We are ranked 15th in the UK for student satisfaction with teaching in The
Guardian League Tables 2019. Not only that, but this year we were in the top 10 out of 131 institutions in the UK for Course and Lecturers, Student Support and Students' Union at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2019. These awards are based solely on the student reviews of their own institution. We are also ranked 10th in the UK for Overall Student Experience, 5th for Academic Experience and 3rd for Student Welfare and Security respectively in the Times
Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2018. We hope that you like it here after your visit today. Thank you for taking the time to visit us and we hope to see you again soon. Do get in touch on the details below if you need any further information about the day or University. Professor Jane Longmore Vice-Chancellor
