The following Pre-Event Checklist must be completed prior to your event

• Read and understand all of the information in this training manual.

• Review your kit contents for accuracy.

• Conduct your pre-call to the store 3 days before your sampling event and ask the receiving clerk if the product is in stock.

• Activate your debit card (if applicable) the day before your sampling event.

• Ensure you bring the following items to your event: Entire Kit Contents, Sampling Table, Tablecloth, Cutting Board, Knife, Pen (to complete paperwork), Apron (if applicable), Tape, Paperwork & Small Trash Can or Trash Bag.

Table Tent Sign

Executing the Sampling Event:

1. Arrive on time to your store on the day of your event. Upon arrival,introduce yourself to the store manager. Walk through the store to see if a Milka OREO Chocolate Candy Bar display is present. Please try to set up as close to the sampled products as possible. If a display is present, please try and setup near the display.

*Priority of sampling table set-up are:

1. Next to Milka OREO Chocolate Candy Bar display

2. Next to Chocolate/Candy Aisle

3. Next to OREO Cookies display

4. Next to Cookie Aisle

2. Build a small table display of the featured Milka OREO Chocolate Candy Bars for shoppers to purchase directly from your table. You can stack the packages on your table to keep your appearance neat and uncluttered. Shoppers should be able to see the featured product.

3. Set up your table with the easel card, table runner, table tent, balloons, coupons & allergen sign that are included in your kit.

3a) For your balloons, please check with the floral department if there is helium available for the balloons. Explain that the balloons are for a sampling event in store and you have the balloons, clips and ribbon. If you are not able to use the helium in store, please blow up the balloons yourself.

4. Open up one (1) package of Milka OREO Chocolate Candy Bar (See Figure 1). Take out the chocolate candy bar and place it on your cutting board (see Figure 2 pictured on page 4).

a) With your knife, carefully cut the squares in the candy bar using the indented lines as your guide (See Figure 3 pictured on page 4). Each shopper will receive two (2) square samples (See Figure 4 pictured on page 4) which are to be placed on a napkin and served to the shopper (See Figure 5 pictured on page 4).

5. Make sure to have at least three (3) samples of the Milka OREO Chocolate Candy Bar product on your table at all times.

6. Recite the features and benefits to each shopper as they sample the Milka OREO Chocolate Candy Bar and encourage shoppers to purchase Milka OREO Chocolate Candy Bars using a money saving coupon! (pictured on page 2).

Post Event:

• Return any left over product from your table display back to the store shelf.

• DO NOT take the sample product out of the store. Leave any leftover samples with the store manager or in the employee break room.

• Leave any remaining coupons after the event with the store manager.

• Clean up, breakdown your table, and leave your area as you found it.

• Complete your PromoReports® Form and obtain a store stamp and a manager’s signature.

• It is mandatory that you enter your results online or call into PromoReports® to report your results upon event completion. For online entry, please follow the instructions on your PromoReports® form. If you are purchasing product, do NOT include the product you are purchasing in your inventory count.

• Retain your PromoReports® Form for 1 year after calling in your results.

• If you are third party agent (not working directly for PromoWorks) please follow your agency’s instructions on receipts and the completion of the PromoReports® form.

Please recycle your consumer engagement materials when possible.

NOTE: Please follow standard safety/health procedures when conducting your event. Do not distribute samples to children.Hand the sample to the parent or guardian to give to the child.
