• We provide an on-site, full-time Safety Director solely focused on safety

• The Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is a workers' compensation insurance safety performance factor based on three years of loss experience. Polivka significantly below the average with a rating of 0.85

• All Polivka employees (100%) must pass the e-RAILSAFE System

• Polivka Superintendents (100%) are certified under the Railroad Worker Safety “Train the Trainer” program insuring field safety training.

Building an Intermodal Facility requires exact communication and tight coordination between all stakeholders so that safety and quality result. The Polivka International Design Build Team has developed the structured processes below that insure productive execution of all required tasks and timelines are met.

1. Daily Safety Briefings with standardized logs for continuous improvement

2. Weekly Subcontractor Meetings with brainstorming/gap analysis
