    The plate earthing G.I. or copper or C.I. are prone to corrosion which is seen from the abovephotographs.

    Back filling material is used as charcoal + salt which offer rapid corrosion due to acidic and alkalineproperty.

    This earthing involves pipe in cage technology and constructed from nickel + stainless steel alloy inorder to resist the corrosion but not to resist the conduction.
