patient-centric healthcare solutions. Our referral team is committed to meeting your patients’

individual needs, making the visit to our facilities as comfortable as possible.

The service begins from the moment a medical report/ referral / phone call is received. Our team

will ensure that your patients are booked with the appropriate specialist at a convenient time

and location.

For quick, convenient referrals – named and unnamed – contact our Referral Office. This

department liaises with consultants, specialists, health professionals and patients to provide

appointments at our facilities. The service provides you with:

• One telephone number and one phone call – we look after the rest

• Peace of mind knowing that your patient is being looked after

• Upon consultation/ treatment a full medical report will be sent to the referring doctor

offer an Admissions Service – an instant, referral system for patients requiring urgent general

medical care. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through our urgent care

Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women and children’s hospital located in the Emirate of

Abu Dhabi and managed by Singaporean Parkway Health, a subsidiary of Southeast Asia’s largest

Moorfields Eye Hospital Centre officially opened on April 2016 at Abu Dhabi Marina Village and is

the second branch in the UAE, following the opening of Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai in 2007.

Moorfields Eye Hospital Centre in Abu Dhabi is a partnership between Moorfields Eye Hospital

NHS Foundation Trust and United Eastern Medical Services (UEMedical). Moorfields Eye Hospital

in London was founded over 200 years ago and is the oldest and one of the largest centres for

ophthalmic treatment, teaching and research in the world.

Moorfields Eye Hospital Centre in Abu Dhabi provides a comprehensive range of specialist

ophthalmological services, including surgical and non-surgical treatments for common and

complex eye conditions in children and adults, including strabismus, glaucoma, retina (medical and

surgical), oculoplastics (including cosmetic surgery around the eye), corneal and refractive (vision

corrective surgery). All treatments are carried out on a day case basis.

A team of highly experienced and qualified consultant ophthalmologists, many of whom trained

and practiced at Moorfields in London, is based permanently in the UAE to provide treatment

and follow up to patients, supported by medical staff and customer services team, with advanced

equipment and technology for the diagnosis and treatment of the most complex eye conditions.
