1. BACKGROUND
Phumi Trading is a South African registered Close Corporation in accordance with DTI's company and
intellectual properties registration office (CIPRO). The company is also registered with The Construction
Industry Development Board (CIDB) and National Home Builders registration Council (NHBRC). The company is
also a Level One BBBEE contributor.
Our aim is to provide quality products and services to customers within their budget constraints and on time. We further seek to be the preferred and trusted service provider in the discipline of sustainable solution and efficient Service Delivery to both Public and Private Sectors.

3. COMPANY VISION
We aim to provide sustainable employment to develop skills in general construction and management throughout the areas we operate in. Our company believes in the growth of emerging business in our communities, therefore improving the lives of the communities we come into contact with. Our focus is to become a leading service provider in the following areas; participating in youth training, empowering the disabled, the previously disadvantaged and assisting them in their growth, together we can do more.

This is done by furthering the empowerment of women and youth in construction, we have
employed professional skilled personnel in our staff to provide efficient service to our clients for
the benefit of various stakeholders and communities at large. We aim to serve the interests of
our clients as effective as possible.

youth, women. We are also committed to helping
previously disadvantaged individuals, that is why

8. PERSONNEL AND RESOURCES
We have the personnel and resources necessary to provide the foregoing services. We employ computerized measurement, billing, cost reporting and programming systems in execution of our tasks. Software packaged extensively employed is Microsoft Excel, Lotus Spreadsheet, Microsoft Project, WordPerfect and processing programmes. Our staff is trained to continuously provide value added services. Our company ensures proper planning and deliverance of quality work using skilled and knowledgeable staff and believes that job creation is a direct result of infrastructure development and manifestation of local labour base intensive.

9. SAFETY PLAN
Our safety focus goes beyond zero-tolerance accidents and work related mishaps. We are committed to complying with all relevant legislation including the occupational health and safety act 85 of 1993 and current environmental laws and regulations. Our approach to compliance with legislation provides a minimum standard for the development of our systems and procedures. On a regular basis we review this legislation and where necessary address new requirements. In addition, we provide intensive on-going training to employees to ensure they are informed of the full extent of their safety and health obligations.
