We met up at Chalong Bay around 3pm and once on board the classy yacht, the stewardesses gave us the itinerary and showed us to our seats.

As far as luxurious holiday-making is concerned, nothing beats chilling on a yacht in the middle of the ocean whith the wind blowing gently and the music softly playing in the back-ground. Ao Saen is located further from Nai Harn to the right when you come to the end of the road. This beach may not be filled with soft, white sand and it is only 50 meters long. There are no public transportations running up and down the road nor are there any shops to be seen; but because of its quiet atmosphere, those who enjoy tranquility just love it here.

What a sunny, cloudless week it’s been. Fine weather like this calls for a trip to the islands so without wasting a moment longer, we grabbed our backpacks, sunglasses, multi-colored bathing suits and made our way to the pier. Quickly, we hopped onto our boat heading for the blissful Bamboo Island and further on to the world-famous Phi Phi Island surrounded by Krabi Province’s emerald water.

After one relaxing hour on Royal Phuket Marina’s speed boat, we arrived on Bamboo Island. This amazing, isolated little place is under the care of Nopparat Thara-Phi Phi Islands Marine National Park.

Here, the surrounding atmosphere is incredibly refreshing and the sand soft and white like powder. Through the clear water, we could see fishes of all sizes swimming over as if to greet long lost friends.
