I wanted to bring out the brightness of the sky, even further than originally captured in the RAW image. What i’ll do is just talk you through the processes I took in order to get the

final image you see at the bottom.

This is the raw image above. I knew that in order for me to make the building in the distance, where all the chimneys are visible, I would have to bring the light down in the

foreground at the bottom near the bottom of the road.

I first of all brought the contrast up to 41 and the brightness up to 13. I then thought this was too dark so I put a small underwater filter which brought out the darkness in the road

again but didn’t brighten the light by the chimney area.

The picture above is of the final image in a screenshot of the Photoshop file. The picture below is the final image exported into a carrier file form and ready for the client. I believe it

fits the brief to specification.
