The following images are all collages that I created using Adobe Photoshop. Each piece has different inspiration and purpose. The images in each piece have been cut, pasted, sized and rearranged. Colors have also been changed, as well their as hue, saturation, value and contrast. These collages demonstrate my eye for color and fashion. They show my ability to use programs such as Photoshop and display my visual talent which I can use to become a successful visual merchandiser.
“Couture Jungle”
This piece was created for an art class as a warm/cool montage. My inspiration was couture fashion and the jungle.
“Italian Ballerina”
This image was inspired by the streets of Florence, Italy, where I studied fashion and dance.
“Pop Art and Fashion Take Paris”
This image was created using a photograph I took in Paris, France from the top of the Arc de Triomphe, as well as three Chanel designs. Inspiration for this piece came from Paris and Andy Warhol’s pop art images.
I designed this image as the first page of the ALW Designs website. This incorporates images of ALW products as well as the designer’s artwork. I also designed and created the rest of the pages for the website as well.
