Whenyouopenthisalbumitshowsyoueveryplaceyouhavetakenphotosandhowmanyphotosthereareineachplace.Ifyouclickonalocationitwillshowyouthegroupsofphotoswiththeirdates,exactlocationandevenstreetifitisavailable.Thisisagreatfeatureifyouaretravelingandvisitingmanydifferentplaces.PeoplePeoplehasgottenmorepowerfulthanthepreviousversionofthiswhichwascalled“Faces”.IfyouhaddefinedsomefacesinpreviousiterationsofPhotosyoucannoweasilyaddtothem.Youcanalsoidentifymorepeople/faces.DothisbyclickingonFacesandthenclickingoneitherapredefinedfaceoraddinganewface.Ifyouwanttoaddtoapreexistingface,clickonthatperson,scrolldowntothebottomandclickonconfirmAdditionalPhotos.OnceyoudothatPhotosanalyzesallthephotosinthelibraryandshowsyoueachphotoitthinksisthatperson.Youcaneithersayyesornotoconfirm.Notonlythatbutitalsoshowsyouwherethephotosweretakenandanyalbumsthatpersonisin.Andyoucanmakethatpersonafavoriteifyouwant.Ifyouwanttoaddaperson,scrolldowntothebottomofthelistandclickAddPeople.Hereyouwillseegroupingsofeveryfaceinyourlibrary.Chooseoneandclickaddandnamethatperson.Thenyoucanseeallthephotosthatarepre-chosen.Nowyoucanaddtothatpersonaswell.Andyoucanevenmergegroupingswhenyoufindtwoormorefacedesignationsofthesameperson.MemoriesTap the Memories button in Photos in iOS or click the Memories link in the sidebar in Mac OS, and Photos lists all the self-assembled memories that it “thinks” are most important. These memories include both photos and videos and can span many dates and places.

November22,2016You can create your own Memories Albums by first creating your own album or selecting one of your albums and then clicking “Show as Memory” in the upper right hand corner. You can play memories as slideshows. Select the theme from the drop down Themes Menu Select the music from the Music Menu. Note: Only music downloaded into your iTunes Library and the Apple theme songs are available. And you can only delete photos from the self-assembled memories not add to them. Create and Share an Album

When you have lots of photos you want to share it is better to share them via iCloud instead of trying to send them in emails.

• In Photos or All Photos, select the photos to put in the album. • Under the File Menu choose New Album. • Name the Album. • The photos you have selected are now in that album. • Add more photos, delete photos and arrange the photos you want to keep. • Once you have the album the way you like it, on the Share Icon in the Tool Bar. • Choose iCloud Photo Sharing. • Put in a comment and either choose an existing Album or create a new one. • Name the Album and add the names with whom you’d like to share it. • Put in any additional comments as well. • Then click Create. • Your photos will be uploaded to your site and an email will be sent to all the invitees. In

the email will be a link to click on to view the photos. • Once your album has been uploaded, under Shared in the Sidebar click on the album. • In the Toolbar click on the People Icon and click Public Website. This allows PC users to

view your Album.
