I thought the fireplace could add an aspect of historic setting to the thriller clip. It could also symbolise danger, due to the fire within the fireplace.

The old-fashioned bed frame adds a tone of fear. The overcrowded room also creates a sense of claustrophobia.

As well as the old-fashioned bed frame, the make-up table could be used within a scene, for example a woman could be getting ready for an event, when gradually, a villain creeps up behind her.

These dolls are very intimidating due to their dark appearance, which could be used by a child within the thriller film to symbolise curses and torture.

The open drive way is a common convention often present within thriller films. This location could be used successful during dusk, as the actors are visible but the weather creates a pathetic fallacy effect.

This garden looks very ordinary but this contrast between ordinary life and a supernatural/thrilling twist could bring this location to life. It brings a sense of realism to the clip.

The alley-way is another location which makes both the actor and the viewer feel claustrophobic. It creates the fear that one cannot escape.

The wooden poles could be used to attach symbolic objects related to the thriller clip, such as crucifix’s and various religious imagery.

Nature is also a very effective way of bringing the thriller genre to life, as it cannot be controlled. The unusual looking tree creates questions and sets a chilling tone to the scene.

The open sitting room creates a large space, which could be used in order for the actor to locate from room to room. This shot may be present to show the use of continuity.

The narrow star case creates imagery of different levels within the clip. It is also a normal, every-day object, which helps to bring the clip to life. It will also help the actors to travel around the home.

This bedroom window has the direct view of the garden, shown earlier on in this PowerPoint. It is a possibility, that one character could be overlooking the garden, to create a fearful atmosphere.

This photograph is of the loft. This location could be used to hide away people/objects and to help portray a mysterious twist within the clip.

This image shows the window presenting the outside view of the garden. The contrast between the dark and light could create a split in moods.
