BOS 26K

The BOS 26K seriesrepresents the logicaldevelopment of an alreadysuccessful design: a uniformhousing for all sensortypes used. This makes theBOS 26K series compatiblewith series BOS 25K andcomplements it withnew kinds of sensors withparticular specifications andfeatures:

– Laser sensors– New, high-performance

red light and infraredsensors

– Additional optical andmechanical functions.

The BOS 26K series isideally suited wherevergreater demands are madein terms of precision,handling, high sensingdistance or range, as wellas small-parts detection.

The retroreflective modelsfeature autocollimation,i.e., the emitter andreceiver beams coincidegeometrically.Advantage: Exact switchingpoints for any desiredside-approaching object inthe entire beam path

The diffuse model withbackground suppressionBOS 26K-..-1LHB,with its focused light beam,can detect objects preciselyin virtually any color between30 and 150 mm. Thefocusing feature enables aspot size of just 0.1 mmat a distance of 80 mm.

The supply voltage can be10...30 V DC or 17...264 VAC/DC in the universalversion.All DC versions comestandard with PNP and NPNtransistor outputs, and havean alarm output and testinput. Green stability display

The “threshold energy”,which results in a signalchange on output, is definedas 100 %.The switching state is con-sidered stable when theinput energy exceeds or fallsbelow the “threshold energy”by 30 %. The green LEDilluminates.
