The BGL 21 slot sensor isa photoelectric sensor usinga microcontroller for thesetup process and functionmonitoring. All the userneeds to do is press abutton to acquire all the dataneeded for the sensorsetting. These data arestored in an EEPROM, sothat the set process onlyhas to be repeated if newconditions arise. The Autosetbutton is located on the topside of the sensor along withthe function indicators: ayellow LED for indicating theoutput state of the sensor,and a two-color LED (red/green) for indicating functionreadiness or an errorcondition. Both the top andbottom side of the sensorhave an adjustment aidprinted for indicating theposition in which the objectmust be located.
