Jonathan Barcelo, SNS faculty, snared first place for “Agos,” with instrumentation by Wilmarc Lagon and Michael Angelo Lleva, in the song writing contest sponsored by the Balili River System Revitalization Coalition. Mark Jay Felipe (BS Pharm 1) won second place for “Iligtas Mo ang Balili.” Together with other SLU students who won minor awards, they were awarded January 26 at BSU.
