Please follow the steps below for adding/updating Photo album on school pages.
Step 1 – First step is to add photos to DAM (Digital Asset Manager- http://authoring.k12.com/damadmin) under the school. Go to school name in DAM and create a folder named ‘photo-album’.
Step 2 – You can create multiple sub folders under ‘photo-album’ as required.
Step 3 – Now start adding photos under each sub folder that is created under ‘photo-album’. Please activate these folders and images added and they are ready for use now.
Step 4 – Go back to the school site in siteadmin and create a new page with title photo album and choose ‘General Page Template’ from the options given.
Step 5 – Open the photo album page created and add ‘Schools Photo Album’ component from the sidekick.
Step 6 – Edit the component now and fill in the required fields. Album Path: Give the path of photo album folder created in DAM.
Step 5 – Click ok and activate the page from side kick and you should be able to see this page with images loaded on live site. *Note: Ohio Virtual Academy (ohva.k12.com) in production is used for the screenshots included in this document.
