Systematics' digital paperless pH recorder satisfies the most stringent process recording requirements without the handling and clutter associated with paper recorders. It has both a graphic and digital display with time and date information. The L e D display is backlighted and has exceptional clarity. Data can be compressed, scrolled, zoomed, or searched for spe- cific information. A sample rate is adjustable from 100 samples per second to one sample every 10 minutes. Alarm set points are available for start/stop recording as well as relay outputs. Storage of rolls of chart paper is replaced with a reusable, credit-card- sized PCMCIA memory card. An available card reader allows you to download directly to your PC locally or at a remote facility.

LaMotte Co. is offering a new waterproof pH Pock- eTester that also features replaceable electrodes. Two models are available to read either to a 0.2 or 0.1 pH unit accuracy. The new design permits the unit to be entirely exposed to water without damage. Units actually float if dropped in water. Pushbutton controls oiler immediate buffer recognition for rapid calibrations. Units are pow- ered by three 1.4 V watch batteries and are a compact 6.5 in. in length. A protective probe cover is provided.
