The resonating cavities:

- The different shape of the pharynx and the mouth make the difference of the

sounds.- The pharynx can be modified by: tongue, larynx and soft palate.

In English, all sounds are oral (except for the nasal).In the mouth it is defined the quality of the sounds.

Five positions of the lips:

1- Sufficiently close together [] (doesnt occur in English).2- Far appart and spread [ i: ].
