�Red coat color cattle mean daily milk production were significantly higher (2.47

liters) compared with gray coat color but not significant to cattle with brown and

black coat colored

�Data show red coat color cattle as potential breed for dairying

�The mean daily milk production of red coat color s 2.47 liters, however, there are

cattle that produces 4 liters a day

� The red coat colored native cattle had longest mean lactation compared to gray

and brown and black

� Data showed no significant differences on its mean lactation between its coat

colors

� Low lactation was due to early pregnancy since native cattle produces calf

annually.

� Most of the gray and brown and black colored native cattle observed wild and

difficult to tamed and stop earlier in producing milk

� These cattle were observed with good carcass and meat quality and potential

for beef development
