Dear Friends in Christ,
It looks like we are finally in spring and it’s almost summer. I have been blessed this past few weeks doing the school visits. I was blessed on my visit to Kings Acade-my at Lake Ozark. They were practicing for their concert the next week. What a joy listening to them sing. If that wasn’t enough, I arrived at Calvary to see Trinity Lutheran from Jeffer-son City, do a skit for the high school. Everywhere I went I was blessed seeing how awesome God has blessed our Lutheran Schools. I hope to see many of you at summer camp this year. We have a great staff coming and some fantastic new camps for you. But, camps are filling up fast, you need to call or email us to reserve your spot. Serving Him for You!

Song of Solomon 2:11-14 11See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. 12Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. 13The fig tree forms its early fruit; the
blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me." 14My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your
voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely

Dec 2 Christmas Celebration
Greetings from the Board of Directors, I think it is safe to say now that spring has finally sprung. For a while, it did not look like winter would ever end. Soon, we will begin all the wonderful summer ac-tivities at Heits Point. The campers will be able to enjoy the great outdoors, while learning about their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am amazed at the lasting impres-sion going to camp or a confirmation retreat at Heit’s Point has on a child. I have witnessed this with my daughter and her friends, as well as with other children at my Church. This is one very good reason to serve on the Heit’s Point Board, so that we can help make sure this opportunity is available to children for years to come.
The Board had a work day in February and thankfully the weather cooperated. It was well attended by the Board. We worked on several things; screens on the Spitz center; progress on Ascension Haus repairs and some general clean up. We will con-tinue to have Board work days to help get projects completed and work on the ap-pearance of Heits Point. These are top priorities for the Board.
Finally, we now have our Heit’s Point Missions Endowment established with the LCMS Foundation. This is something that we have been working on for the last sev-eral years. The Endowment can help ensure the financial stability of Heit’s Point in the coming years. If you would like information on how you can make a gift to the Endowment, please let Mark, or one of the Board members know, and they will get you in touch with someone at the Foundation.
I look forward to seeing you at the festival on June 10th.
